Introduction to SASEE

The Sociocultural Approaches to Science Education Equity (SASEE) lab was established in 2011 with the aim to expand science learning opportunities for students who are often marginalized from school and science (including students who are culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD), special education needs (SEN), students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, girls, and others.
